Speaking to reporters at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha here on Wednesday regarding Amit Shah’s visit to the state and holding a rally in Mandya, “We are concentrating on the Old Mysuru region, as the formation of a government without doing well in Old Mysuru will be tough, as we experienced in 2008 and 2018, and that is why we are strengthening our activities, and it is not very difficult to get a good number of MLAs from the region. That is why I said Amit Shah can bat on any pitch. We will succeed in getting a good number of seats from the region,” he said.
