Hubballi: Days after the AIMIM party sought permission from the HDMC to allow them to celebrate Tipu Jayanti at Idgah Ground, the Republic Party of India on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to mayor Iresh Anchatgeri requesting to grant permission to celebrate Onake Obavva Jayanti at Idgah Grounds on November 11.
Sri Gajanan Mahamandal, led by D. Govindrao, submitted a memorandum to the HDMC commissioner requesting permission to establish idols of Rati and Manmatha during Holi celebrations.
