Akhil Jain murder case: Eight teams formed, dead body not yet found

Hubballi: The Hubballi police have intensified their investigation into the Akhil Mahajanshet (Jain) case. Police Commissioner Labhu Ram has formed eight teams, all of which are led by inspectors. According to the sources, one or two teams have gone to Goa in search of the absconding accused.

The police have claimed that though they have registered a murder case based on the missing person investigation; they have yet to find the body. The police have searched various locations using sophisticated equipment but have failed. The missing person case reported by Akhil’s uncle that he had gone missing from Kalaghatgi was false, according to the police.

Police Commissioner Labhu Ram said that they have yet to find the body. The police are searching for it. He expressed confidence that the case will be solved at the earliest. Ram refused to share more information as the investigation is still ongoing.
