New Delhi, May 7, 2025 — Following the launch of Operation Sindoor by the Indian Armed Forces, which targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), several Indian airports have issued advisories warning of potential flight disruptions due to airspace restrictions.
Bengaluru and Mangaluru International Airports were among the first to alert passengers via social media. “We are expecting impact on some flights across our network due to airspace restrictions. All passengers are requested to please check directly with your airline for the latest information. You can also find timely updates on their Twitter (X) pages,” Bengaluru International Airport stated in a post on Tuesday.
Mangaluru International Airport issued a similar advisory, urging travelers to verify flight status with their respective airlines before arriving at the airport.
Passengers planning to travel in the coming days are advised to stay updated through official airline channels and airport social media platforms.
In view of airspace restrictions and closure of certain airports across the country, flight operations may be impacted. We urge passengers to check with their airlines for the latest flight status before travelling to the airport.
