Hubballi: In a strong show of protest against rising prices and what it calls an assault on the Constitution, the Congress party is set to hold a massive rally in Hubballi on Tuesday at 4 PM. Titled the Samvidhan Bachao Rally, the event will take place at Girnichawl on Karwar Road.
The protest will be led by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, and AICC General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala also expected to attend.
This rally is part of the Congress party’s ongoing campaign to highlight issues such as record-breaking inflation and alleged failures by the BJP-led central government to uphold constitutional values. Just a few days ago, a similar protest was held in Belagavi.
Party leaders have repeatedly blamed the Union government for the worsening economic conditions and what they describe as systematic attempts to undermine the Constitution.
