Bengaluru: The BJP has won a second term in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, and Goa. The BJP will return to power in Karnataka as well, said BJP general secretary Arun Singh, who is also in charge of Karnataka.

Speaking to reporters in the city today, he said the party, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had won the Assembly in four states and returned to power. This has increased the enthusiasm of the party workers in Karnataka. He expressed confidence that the BJP would win the upcoming assembly elections in the state.

“Our Prime Minister pays special attention to the poor and the backward classes. The Chief Ministers of those four states have done their best for their respective states and the results are in front of us, “he said.

He said that wherever Priyanka Gandhi campaigned in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress party had lost its deposit and it was a broken house in Karnataka. “Basavaraj Bommai is the popular chief minister. There is also the leadership of BS Yeddyurappa. So in Karnataka, the BJP is going to come to power with a majority. We will get 150 seats, “said Arun Singh.

Arun Singh said that the question of changing leadership does not arise. The party will seek votes on the people-friendly schemes given by both governments to the public. The BJP would fight the election on the development agenda.
