Mysuru: Former minister AH Vishwanath strongly responded to the accusations made by former minister Dr. K Sudhakar, claiming that Congress leader Siddaramaiah played a role in the collapse of the Congress-JD(S) coalition government. Vishwanath questioned Sudhakar’s silence over the years and dismissed the allegations against Siddaramaiah as baseless.
In a press conference held in Mysuru, Vishwanath expressed amusement at Sudhakar’s timing of making these statements after facing defeat in the elections. He highlighted that Sudhakar lost to a young candidate without significant financial resources. Vishwanath pointed out that if Siddaramaiah truly had a role in the downfall of the coalition government, Sudhakar could have spoken up about it at that time.
