Dharwad: Two people were killed on the spot after the moped on which they were going hit by a truck near Itigatti village on Hubballi-Dharwad bypass on Saturday.
Police identified the deceased has Eknath Gosami, 42, Bhimraya Gosami, 38 both residents of Laxmisinghankeri in Dharwad. According to the police, the victims were going towards Hubballi on the bypass when the truck which was also going towards Hubballi hit their moped.
The Dharwad Rural police have registered a case and an investigation is going on.
