Accident: 11 killed after an SUV collides with a bus

As many as 11 passengers of an SUV were killed in an accident on Thursday night in Betul, Madhya Pradesh, said the police.

According to the police, the accident occurred about 2 a.m. near Jhallar police station between Gudgaon and Bhaisdehi, as 11 people were returning from Amravati in Maharashtra. The SUV’s driver dozed off before colliding with a bus. Among the 11 people killed in the collision were three ladies, a 5-year-old girl, and a toddler.

Seven victims were immediately removed, but the vehicle had to be sliced to remove the remaining dead, according to the police. They said the primary investigation indicates that the SUV drove into the bus after its driver dozed off.
