The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced its first set of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections, revealing names for 80 constituencies on Monday.
The party has named candidates for Hubballi-Dharwad (Central), Kalaghatagi, and Hubballi-Dharwad (East) constituencies among the 80. Vikas Soppin, a farmer leader known for his public activism, including his involvement in the Kalasa Banduri project, has been announced as the AAP candidate for Hubballi-Dharwad Central constituency.
Basavaraj Teradal will contest from Hubballi-Dharwad (East), while Manjunath Jakkanavar has been named as the candidate for Kalaghatgi constituency. The party is expected to release its second list of candidates soon.
