Hubballi: The Aam Aadmi Party has found a solution to the decades-old parking problem that residents and traders are facing in Hubballi’s Durgadbail area. Recently, the AAP team launched a campaign and conducted a survey of the area, gathering opinions of around 150 traders. Based on their suggestions, they found that the HDMC owns a building opposite the Town Police Station in Broadway and that it could be turned into a multi-level parking facility and that they could build toilets too in that space.
The AAP members said that business establishments located in the Durgadbail area are suffering losses due to a lack of parking space. Many visitors have stopped visiting the area as they find it difficult to find a safe area for parking their vehicles.
The AAP members have also urged the HDMC Commissioner to utilize the unused CBT building, which is not being used by the public, and the puzzle parking facility created by the Hubballi-Dharwad Smart City Limited.
The AAP has created a team seeking a solution to the above three problems, led by Algond Biradar, Naveen Singh Rajput, and Sadanand Holennavar.
Dharwad District President of APP Anantkumar Bugadi, Santosh Mane, Babusab Sheikh, Hasansab, and others actively took part in the campaign.
