A medical student studying MBBS at Kharkiv Medical University died in Russian shelling this morning ( Indian time 11 am) in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
The deceased has been identified as Naveen Shekhappa Gyangoudar, a resident of Chalageri village in Ranebennur taluk. Naveen was 21. According to the sources, Naveen was staying in a metro bunker and sources said that he was out to buy groceries in the morning, but at the same time, Russian forces launched shelling and he died in the incident.
Arindam Bagachi, Official Spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs, said an Indian student lost his life in shelling in Kharkiv, but he did not mention the name of the student. But his friends have taken it to social media and are posting this sad news.
