Hubballi: A moving Maruti Swift car went up in flames near Reliance Digital in Vidyanagar on Friday evening. The incident happened around 8 p.m. in the evening, said eyewitnesses.
The Swift car caught fire while moving; it was going towards Dharwad. The car driver escaped unharmed from the car. The reason for the fire is not yet known, nor is the name of the car’s owner. The fire accident caused a traffic jam on a mixed traffic lane for a while, but the fire was doused off by the fire and emergency departments and locals, said an eyewitness.
