Dharwad: An Army soldier died on the spot after falling from a tractor on Wednesday.
Nagaraj Basappa Udamashee, 27, of Harobelawadi village in Dharwad taluk, has been identified as the soldier. According to authorities, the deceased was sitting on the tractor’s engine when he abruptly fell off the vehicle near Garag-Lokuru Cross on his way back from Madivaleshwar Jatra in Garag with his friends.

The deceased soldier had already served in the army in many states and was set to serve for a further eight years. He just became a father.
