Dharwad: According to Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil, all eligible beneficiaries in 58 villages have received the first dose of Covid vaccination.
He gave the food kits provided by District RedCross under the Jeevanasare scheme to the ASHA workers who were responsible for 100% 1st dose vaccine coverage at his office.
The first dosage of Covid vaccination has been given to 20 lakh eligible beneficiaries in the district, which is 90 percent of the target. Approximately 52% of people have had two doses of the vaccination. The DC further stated that the district administration would reward ASHA workers with food kits every Monday in the future for achieving 100% vaccination.
