Bengaluru: Karnataka Education Minister S Suresh Kumar today announced that they have cancelled the 2nd PUC exams.
He said all the preparations were done but students were divided on whether or not to attend the exam. Hence the state government has decided to cancel the 2nd PUC exams. But we would conduct SSLC exams 2021 in the 3rd week of July.
Speaking to reporters, the minister said they took the decision to cancel the 2nd PUC exam after receiving feedback from all the stakeholders. Some wanted the exam should be conducted, and some were against it.
He said in the 3rd week of July SSLC exams would be conducted. Only two exams would be conducted: one would be language and the other would be multiple-choice questions on science, maths, and social sciences. He said teachers who got vaccination would be the invigilators for the exam.
