Hubballi: A 26-year-old youth named Saleem Bandisab Rattanadagi died in a road accident after sustaining severe head injuries, when the two-wheeler on which he was riding allegedly skidded near former minister AM Hindasgeri’s house here on Wednesday morning, according to the police.
The police said Saleem, a resident of Anand Nagar and working as a tile worker, lost control of his bike when he was going towards Bankapur Chowk from New English School in a rash and negligent manner.
The police said his bike skidded near Hindasgeri House; after falling, the bike moved further and his head hit hard against a Tata Ace vehicle that was parked on the side of the road.
The injured died as a few people were transporting him to KIMS Hospital.

In another accident that happened recently, a Sattur resident suffered serious injuries after the bike on which he was riding allegedly skidded due to the sudden application of brakes near Bhairidevarkoppa Dargah.
The injured has been identified as Ningayya Vastrad, 68, a resident of Udayagiri Sattur. The accident happened when he was returning home from Gokul Road’s Gandhi Nagar.
