Hubballi: Dharwad Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil received a pat on the back from retired IAS officer and former Karnataka Chief Secretary K Ratna Prabha. The retired IAS officer made a name in the Hyderabad Karnataka region because of her pro-people work and she was the third woman Chief Secretary of the state.
In a reply on microblogging site Twitter, Ratna Prabha hailed Nitesh Patil termed him “Is an officer who has the will and commitment to work. Need more officers like him.”
Mr Patil took the charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Dharwad amid the raging Covid-19 pandemic in June last year. Since then he has been doing a phenomenal job, leading from the front to bend the curve of Covid-19 infection.
His work is being praised by the netizens for his quick response to the distressed public who request help from him. The DC has earned a name as people-friendly and as well as media-friendly.
